In 2006, the FIFA World Cup (Fußball-Weltmeisterschaft) was held in Germany. One of the TV channels with broadcast rights, Premiere, assembled various singers and bands together into the supergroup Music Team Germany, who would record a song to accompany live game broacasts.
The song chosen was "Won't Forget These Days", originally performed by German band Fury In The Slaughterhouse and released in 1992.
